Hinan |
If there are any surprises in the main draft, the opponents who have been paired up until the semi-finals may become enemies or allies in the future, and this may be the last match for the unit they belong to. The opening match was a showdown between twins Rina and Hina. The long-awaited sisterly showdown started with a handshake. With ground fighting, judo techniques, and exchanges of roll-ups, they showed their determination, and Rina won the sisterly showdown with a pinfall after bridging into a reverse hold

◆3-way battle 15-minute single match |
||
| Nakano Tam |
5 minutes 52 seconds |
Hannan |
*The other person is Level Kel
The second match was Rebel Kel vs. Hanan vs. Nakano Tam. Would Hanan and Tam of STARS team up to take on the multinational (provisional) Rebel? Hanan slapped Tam's outstretched right hand and immediately elbowed Tam. Rebel and Tam launched a coordinated attack on Hanan, but Hanan dodged and delivered a dropkick. This time, Hanan called on Tam to team up for a train attack. Rebel used her height to her advantage and delivered a dropkick to Hanan. Then, with the offense and defense changing rapidly, Tam pinned Hanan with a modified side-entry prawn hold to secure the victory

The third match was a six-person tag team match between JAN and Oedo Tai. The match started with JAN attacking. JAN and Hazuki launched a combined attack. However, Oedo Tai gradually gained control of the match. Iida retaliated against Hazuki with an elbow, but was knocked down in one hit. Natsuko overwhelmed her opponents with her power. Natsuko and Andras exchanged elbows. Natsuko speared Natsu as she made her dragon ring entrance. Andras's elbow accidentally hit Natsu, and Iida managed to pin her for a two count. Hazuki delivered a swan dive dropkick. Hazuki and Natsu hit Iida with a combined Codebreaker. Finally, Natsu's brainbuster submission hold secured the victory for Oedo Tai

In the semi-final, STARS faced Kid, Kashima, and Hoshiki against QQ's Bea, AZM, and Konami. Bea attacked Kid's arm, and Konami and AZM targeted the same spot. Kashima delivered a facebuster to Konami and AZM while simultaneously dropping a dropkick on Bea. STARS launched a coordinated attack. Bea hit Hoshiki with a knee followed by a back drop. Konami and Bea worked together, with Konami attacking Hoshiki's leg. Hoshiki landed a Brazilian kick on Konami, but the pain in her leg prevented her from covering it. AZM and Kid engaged in a battle of wills. Konami broke up Kid's frog splash. Kid dodged AZM's Mystica and pinned her for the three count

◆2019 Draft Meeting: 5-Way Battle (30-minute match) |
||
| Kimura Hana |
11 minutes 49 seconds |
Jungle Scream |
Winning Order:
① Mayu Iwatani (2 minutes 17 seconds, OTR) vs. Kagetsu
② Momo Watanabe (5 minutes 30 seconds, OTR) vs. Kagetsu
③ Kagetsu (6 minutes 56 seconds, OTR) vs. Hana Kimura
The losing JAN was forcibly disbanded.
The main event is a match to determine the draft order. The order in which they win will determine their draft order and they will be eliminated, with the last unit remaining being forcibly disbanded. Hana Kimura, Kagetsu, Jungle Kyona, Momo Watanabe, and Mayu Iwatani enter in that order, and each unit raises the ropes of their leader. Then everyone watches the situation from around the ring. The gong sounds, but each of them observes the situation. After a test of strength, they grab each other's arms, and Hana and Kagetsu, then Iwatani and Kyona, and then Momo almost get caught in an OTR, but they manage to hold on and seem to have escaped danger, when Kagetsu attempts a swan dive from the apron, but Iwatani throws her out of the ring and she takes first place. Hana applies a Manji Gatame to Kyona on the ground, but Kagetsu breaks it up. Momo and Kagetsu kick each other. All four are in a brawl. Kyona tries to throw Kagetsu out of the ring from a powerbomb position, but Kagetsu resists. Then Momo rushes in and kicks Kagetsu out of the ring, taking second place. Kyoko and Hana try to team up against Kagetsu, but Kagetsu drops a kick on Hana as she climbs to the corner. Hana barely manages to withstand it, but Kagetsu takes advantage of the opening and pulls Hana out of the ring, taking third place. This leaves Kyoko of JAN and Hana of the Multinational Army (tentative), with one of the units being forced to disband. Kyoko goes on the offensive, but Hana retaliates with a dropkick. Kyoko manages to escape Hana's modified卍-hold by reaching the ropes. Both climb to the corners, and Hana headbutts Kyoko, sending her to the apron. Hana tries to throw her off, but they get tangled and Hana also ends up on the apron from the top rope. Finally, Hana forcibly throws Kyoko out of the ring for the victory. This forces JAN to disband. The members of JAN break down in tears outside the ring
We move on to the draft meeting
Iwatani: "Well, the 2019 draft has begun. I'd like to select the STARS' first pick. Speaking of STARS, it's Starlight Kid. Congratulations. Do you have a few words?"
Kid: "I've been selected as the number one pick for the second year in a row. Thank you so much. I'm truly happy. I'll follow Mayu-san for life. I'll do my best. Thank you."
Momo: "The first round of Queen's Quest. Of course, it's AZM-chan."
AZM: "I was also the first overall pick in the draft for the second year in a row. Since Kid and I were both first overall picks, the two of us will create the future of Stardom."
Kagetsu: "Well, I guess there's no other choice. I'll go with Hazuki-san."
Hazuki: "Well, there's no other way, just say Hazuki... Hazuki is fine."
Kagetsu: "Let me rephrase that. I'd like to request Hazuki-san as the first pick for the Oedo Tai. Hazuki-san is the best choice."
Hana: "Jungle. Come on. Hana-sama has nominated you, so come on."
Screaming Woman: "Last year, I created JAN with my own hands, and this year, I lost JAN with my own hands. I really loved the members of JAN, and I loved JAN. But I like Hana's way of life. She chose a difficult path for herself and is here now. I will also turn this adversity into an opportunity."
Iwatani: "Next up is Arisa Hoshiki. We look forward to your continued support of Arisa Hoshiki STARS."
Hoshiki: "Hello everyone. I'm Hoshiki Arisa. Thank you for listening to STARS. I'll continue to do my best, so please support me."
Momo: "Queen's Quest, second round. Hayashishita Utami."
Utami: "I'm currently taking a break from competing, but I want to continue protecting Queen's Quest, both as a tag team with Momo and as Queen's Quest itself."
Kagetsu: "Andras Miyagi, please."
Miyagi: "..."
Hana: "Mobumi, I'm talking to you. A background character. That background character over there. Yes, it's you. A background character. Konami, now known as Mobumi. Come here quickly."
Konami: "Hana Kimura. I've never disliked you since our singles match. And let me just say this: Wherever I go, my Triangle Lancer has a 100% win rate."
Iwatani: "It's the third round for STARS. There's no way I'd pick Natsu-san. Nakano Tam. Aren't you happy? You look really dissatisfied."
Tamu: "It's meaningless unless I'm number one."
Iwatani: "Sorry, I started crying."
Momo: "Third round. Konami-san... Bee."
Bee: "QQ is number one"
Kagetsu: "Thank you. Let's go for the third round. For the third round from Oedo Tai, I'd like to ask for Na...na...tsu...ko. Welcome to Oedo Tai."
Natsuko: "Kagetsu... no, Ms. Kagetsu. I thought you would choose me."
Hana: "She's not here right now, but my Mexican mother, Marie Apache. I'm sure she's saying 'Gracias'."
Iwatani: (to Kagetsu) "You don't want it? You don't want it, Natsu-san? It's decided. Kashima Saki."
Kashima: "Mayu-chan has been really cold to me since this morning. I'm feeling nothing but anxiety. I look forward to working with you again as a member of STARS."
Momo: "Fourth round of Queen's Quest. With Viper."
Kagetsu: "I'd like to order Jamie, please."
Hana: "Since we're both second-generation wrestlers, I'll go with Natsumi."
Iwatani: "STARS' fourth round... fifth round. I'm sure Hanan will one day lead Stardom."
Hanan: "You didn't nominate me last time, so I'm really happy. Thank you."
Momo: "Fifth round. At Shah Dane."
Kagetsu: "Isn't it getting a bit sad for her? Isn't it getting a bit sad for her? She's indispensable to the Oedo Tai. I'd like to request Martina."
Hana: "Level. Level."
Iwatani: "He's not here, but please go with Zaiya."
Momo: "Sixth round. At Onozaki."
Onozaki: "I'm surprised. I also felt like I didn't have a place to belong, but thank you for choosing me. I appreciate it."
Kagetsu: "Thank you for waiting, everyone. Sixth round. I'd like to ask for Natsu Sumire. This will be the last for Oedo Tai."
Natsu: "You idiot...it's too late. If you had been just one step later, I would have become STARS'. I'm so happy to be with you again. Thank you."
Hana: "I'm in England right now, and it's Bobi-tan."
Iwatani: "STARS, seventh round. Iida Saya. I thought her ability to get back up no matter how many times she's knocked down was very much like STARS, so I hope you'll give her your support."
Iida: "Thank you so much. I'll take it."
Iwatani: "Oh, sorry. STARS and above is fine. That's it. I'd like to end it now. Thank you very much."
Momo: "The seventh round of Queen's Quest. With Hinami. Aren't you happy?"
Hinami: "Um... I might have to break up with Hanami and Rinami... but actually, I want to be with you..."
Momo: "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I'll be nice to you. It's okay. Queen's Quest is on hold."
Hana: "Which one should I choose? I'll follow God's orders, nano nano na. It looks like a kappa, and it seems happy. It came running. What happened?"
Ruaka: "I've changed my mindset, and now that I've been chosen, I want to do my best."
Hana: "That's good. That's good. Your email is crying. Come here, pink-haired girl who's crying. I'm not that extraordinary either."
Rinami: "I love Hana-san."
Hana: "Okay, okay. I don't like my seniors, but I'm Yoneyama. She's not here right now, but please say Yoneyama. Is there anyone else? There aren't any other players, right? Okay, then that'll do."
Kagetsu: "Okay, let's hear the aspirations of each unit."
Momo: "Konami-san took the Queen's Quest title, but I'm looking forward to fighting her. Queen's Quest is still aiming to take all the belts with this lineup, so please support us!"
Kagetsu: "The Oedo Tai remains unchanged, with one more member joining: Natsuko. I didn't expect the JAN members to scatter so happily, so it made me realize how weak our bonds are, but I don't think that will be the case with Natsuko now that she's joined the Oedo Tai, so I'll make sure to nurture her well. I'm going to change Natsuko, so please look forward to it."
Hana: "To borrow a quote from the revolutionary Che Guevara, diamonds can only be polished by diamonds. I intend to polish these rough diamonds and turn them into sparkling diamonds. That's all."
Iwatani: "Good evening, everyone in Shinkiba. One more time. Good evening. So please come to STARS. Tam-chan is... Tam-chan, Saki-chan, and Iwatani all hold the artist belts, and now Iida has joined the existing members. From now on, the STARS regular army will properly legitimize... we want to do things in a legitimate way, so please continue to support us. So, since I'm the last one to take the microphone to give my aspirations, I can... can I? Can I? Can I? I forgot to mention one thing. As of today, I will be taking a leave of absence. I'll do that. Thank you. While I was away, various units fell apart, but I'm not worried because I believe everyone will keep Stardom going. I want to recover properly and recuperate. So... so, the multinational forces are... is that right for the multinational forces? It's hard to say "multinational forces." How about "multinational"? OK. Does anyone have anything to say? Natsu, would you like to speak? OK. So, everyone please stand up. So, will you come and see Stardom this year as well? Thank you for your continued support. I haven't explained anything. Oh well. Believe in the present and shine tomorrow. We Are Stardom. Thank you very much."
Post-match comments
Oedo Tai
Kagetsu: "So, the 2019 Draft is over. These are the members, plus Maru-chan and Jamie, so there are almost no changes, and Natsuko has newly joined."
Natsuko: "I've actually been thinking for a while now that Kagetsu-san might choose me... not just for a while, but recently. I've actually been thinking that. So I'm really happy that my feelings have been conveyed."
Kagetsu: "It's something that can be understood, isn't it?"
Natsu: "Do you have any lingering feelings for JAN?"
Kagetsu: "Just say it, just say it."
Natsuko: "To be honest, of course I think I've grown this much because I was in that unit, and I don't hold any grudges or anything like that, but how should I put it... when I'm in that unit, I'm basically Jungle Kyona's second-in-command. If I keep doing silly things like Jungle Jungle all the time, I won't be able to move up. I want to go higher and higher, so with that in mind, I've always wanted to join Oedo Tai. That's why I'm so incredibly happy to be in this position now."
– What qualities did Kagetsu see in Natsuko that led her to select her?
Kagetsu: "Just a feeling. Random. Just kidding. Telepathy. Well, I don't think there's any point in rambling on here, so if you keep watching closely from now on you'll understand. No objections, right? I'm withdrawing. So, let's go for a drink for now."
Momo: "Queen's Quest consists of these members, Viper, and Chardonnay, but first and foremost is AZM-chan. She wasn't taken by Oedo Tai, and I left before Kagetsu, so AZM-chan was able to stay here, but I think the biggest thing is that Konami-san was taken. Konami-san was my third choice, and she is a very talented wrestler, so it's really sad that she was taken, but from now on I will be Konami's enemy. It can't be helped. As for the two new members, Onozaki's JAN disbanded, and I feel really sorry about what happened to Hinami."
AZM: "Please say a few words."
Onozaki: "When my JAN was gone and I hit rock bottom, Momo-san saved me, and I've renewed my spirits and will do my best in Queen's Quest. Please support me."
Hinami: "I've grown up as one of three sisters, and I've always relied on my older sister, so I want to do my best."
Momo: "Don't cry."
AZM "Don't cry"
Momo: "Don't cry."
AZM: "From now on, you can rely on AZM. Think of AZM as your big sister."
Momo: "Big sister"
AZM: "Big Sister"
Momo: "It's okay, I'm your older sister."
AZM: "Okay. All's well that ends well."
Momo: "Congratulations. I think Onozaki still has a lot of potential to grow, so I hope she'll continue to develop in Queen's Quest. Hinami has always relied on her older sister, so don't cry."
AZM: "Go independent."
Momo: "Let's fight together, big sister."
Hinami: "Yes."
Momo: "My older sister will be our enemy. I think it'll be more interesting if the three sisters fight together. So please support Queen's Quest from now on. Thank you."
–You've increased the number quite a bit, is there a reason for that?
Momo: "I increased the amount... that's right."
AZM: "Plus, Shardaneh and Viper."
Momo: "That's right. There are eight of us... It's quite a lot, but the other unit, or rather STARS, originally had a lot of members, so I think it's just right to have them spread out like this. With this many people, we can aim to become artists too. We'll do our best."
STARS
Iwatani: "So, with Iida joining us, this will be the lineup for STARS in 2019. Is that okay? Did everyone mind?"
STARS: "We were happy."
Iwatani: "Tamu-chan"
Tamu: "I was happy to be number one."
Iwatani: "I was really torn. I was torn between first and second place."
Tamu: "I was torn between first and second place, but I ended up third."
Kashima: "I was happy to be number one."
Hoshiki: "I will do my best."
Hanan: "I would have preferred to be number one, but I was happy to be chosen."
Iida: "To be honest, I definitely would have preferred JAN. But since Mayu-san chose me, I'll do my best. Please support me."
Kid: "I was so happy that Mayu-san selected me as her number one pick for the second year in a row. Now that I've been selected as her number one pick, I want to live up to those expectations. I'll do my best."
Iwatani: "So, in 2019, please continue to support STARS. We'll keep going strong and on the right track. We Are."
STARS "STARS"
Multinational Force (provisional)
Hana: "At the press conference the other day, I said that everyone belonging to Stardom is Stardom's lapdog, and up until now, everyone belonging to Stardom has always been Stardom's lapdog, but I felt that there were some who weren't quite able to become the perfect lapdog, so this time I chose people who have the potential to be stray dogs. As for the mob character, Konami, or rather Mobumi..."
Konami: "Hey, hey, hey, that's..."
Hana: "They're originally homegrown talents."
Konami: "Change the way you call me."
Hana: "She lacks glamour, you see. If working with me adds some flair, let's call her Konami. She's not a homegrown talent; she's performed with various groups, and her circumstances are somewhat similar to mine, so I chose her. She's a headbutt, and I thought, 'Oh, I want to work with her!'"
Screaming woman: "Today's?"
Hana: "I've always thought of him as a poor guy who hasn't been able to achieve results for a long time. I think he was really hurt today, but I hope he can turn that into power for the future, because anger is his biggest motivation. Also, he's on a big level. And Bobby is my friend. He was crying. He was crying. But I think he's a diamond in the rough. And the Mexican father-son wrestling duo often treated me to meals in Mexico..."
Konami: "Yoneyama-san"
Hana: "This is a personal story, but I've known Yoneyama since I was about five years old. I'm generally not good with my seniors, but Yoneyama is an exception. There she goes, the talkative one."
Kyoko: "First of all, I lost the unit JAN, which I created with my own hands last year, with my own hands today. At the same time, I also lost some of the members who had built JAN together with me up until now. I think that the members of JAN, including myself, will all live strongly in their new places, doing what they want to do, and we will be connected in the ring, so when we face each other there, I want them to come at me with all their might, and I will come at them with all my might as well, and I think that is the last thing I can do as a senior. I was chosen by Hana, but to be honest, I have no intention of following Hana. I want to assert my own way of doing things, but as I said earlier, I like the way Hana lives, and I also have experience living in Africa, so I think that adversity can create a new version of yourself, and I want to create a new version of myself in my new place. Thank you."
Konami: "Well, until the draft was over, until the match was over, I thought I would be chosen by Watanabe Momo and be able to continue as part of QQ this year as well, but due to an unexpected turn of events, I was chosen for this group, but as you can see, there's no way Stardom won't be interesting with this group. I'm looking forward to what's to come. As Jungle said, I have no intention of following Kimura Hana, but I don't dislike her. Up until now I've worked hard for my QQ teammates and for Stardom, but from now on I want to work hard for myself, no, for Triangle Lancer, and only for Triangle Lancer."
Flower "Pink-chan"
Rinami: "I wasn't chosen until the very end, and I was crying the whole time, when Hana-san called my name. Because I was called, I'm with these members, and I hope I can grow together with them."
Ruaka: "JAN disbanded today, but I've changed my mindset, and since I still have the same members and was in the same unit as before, Yone-san and Kyoko-chan, I want to do my best in this unit."
Level: "I'm so happy. Thank you."
Screaming woman: "There are a lot of Japanese people, so the name is 'Multinational Force'..."
Hana: "That wasn't even a name to begin with. It was more like a (temporary) name. I was thinking of deciding on a name once we won the belt, but in the end, the multinational team couldn't win it."
Screaming woman: "Hey, hey, announce that too and start a revolution!"
Flowers: "Revolution"
Screaming woman: "Shall I wake you up?"
Hana: "Pinky-chan, stick out your tongue."
Screaming woman: "You don't have to do it. You don't have to do it."
Hana: "Stick out your tongue and roll your eyes back."
Screaming woman: "Don't give them weird education."
Hana: "White eyes, white eyes, look up. Good."
Screaming woman: "You don't have to do it."
Hana: "That's wonderful. Kappa-chan, you try it. Can you do it?"
Screaming woman: "It's okay. You don't have to do it."
Hana: "Okay. Let's start a revolution."
Screaming woman: "This is going to be fun."
